About The Role

South West Alliance of Regional Health Services (SWARHS) serves a population of more than 429,000 people across a land area in southern Victoria of 32,000 square kilometres. We are embarking on the refresh of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) application that underpins the clinical operations of multiple (11) health sites. With the EHR refresh, we are taking the opportunity to review and refine the way our organisation works, taking advantage of new technology to align capabilities with our clinical best practices.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of multiple SWARH ICT projects. Projects and associated initiatives support SWARH service delivery for all health services in the South West Alliance of Rural Health. The role includes delivery of in-flight projects, development of new projects, analysis activities leading to assessment reporting, recommendation papers, and/or new business cases.

The Project Manager will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders across SWARH and the health services network to define, scope, cost, quality, schedules, risk and benefits, aligned to the objectives of the project Business Cases. The role will facilitate effective collaboration with external vendors and business stakeholders to deliver ICT projects that align with SWARH and member strategies and are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end ICT projects using the SWARH project management framework, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Ensure delivery of projects within agreed timelines, scope, and governance requirements.
* Contribute to project initiation and planning activities, including scope definition, feasibility analysis, requirements gathering, and development of business cases aligned with digital strategy and existing ICT investments.
* Act as a key liaison for business stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships across internal and external parties, supporting effective communication, and ensuring alignment of ICT services with business needs.
* Ensure compliance with ICT governance frameworks, manage risks, issues, dependencies, and procurement processes (including tenders), and support vendor coordination to achieve value-for-money outcomes and successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For

* Tertiary degree in an information systems related discipline or equivalent information technology experience.
* Project Management qualifications (PMP or Prince2).
* Experience as a Project Manager working in the ICT Infrastructure environment.
* Project Management experience particularly managing inter-project dependencies and resource demands.
* Demonstrated experience managing ICT Infrastructure projects, including networks, and storage and compute projects.
* Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with all levels of stakeholders including CEOs.
* High level of effective communication skills (oral presentation, written, information presentation) to engage with a wide variety of internal and external professionals at all organisational levels, and groups.
* Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems, proactively identifying improvement opportunities to add value to business operations.

Benefits

* Excellent working conditions and a strong sense of job satisfaction.
* A vibrant staff wellbeing program and access to our 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
* Extensive professional development opportunities.
* Attractive salary packaging benefits.
* Living expenses capped at $9,010.
* Meals and entertainment capped at $2,650.
