Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Biosecurity Officer, you will lead regional operations to manage invasive plant and animal species. This involves developing and implementing strategies to eradicate high-priority pests in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
* You will provide specialist technical advice to support local governments in their planning and management of invasive species.
* Investigations into alleged offences against the Biosecurity Act 2014 are also an essential part of this role.
