Senior Domestic and Family Violence Case Manager
Multicultural Families Organisation seeks a dedicated Senior Domestic Violence Case Manager to join their SARA team, supporting culturally and linguistically diverse women experiencing domestic and family violence.
About the Role
* Provide expert guidance, leadership, and high-level support within the SARA Program.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and support the SARA team with day-to-day operations and decision-making.
2. Oversee allocation of new referrals, including PAR referrals.
3. Provide expert consultation on risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis interventions.
4. Support staff in delivering timely, client-centred responses both face-to-face and via telephone.
5. Advocate for clients navigating the legal system, housing, healthcare, and other services.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, community organisations, law enforcement, and multidisciplinary teams.
7. Facilitate or co-facilitate group programs and educational workshops for women.
8. Ensure accurate record keeping, reporting, and compliance with organisational and legislative standards.
9. Assist with staff supervision, capability building, and ongoing professional development.
