Reporting to our Global Pre-Sales Leader, you will be responsible for the preparation of quotations and tender submissions covering; installation / testing, contracts, upgrades / re-engineering, retrofit solutions and digital services.You will also get the opportunity to focus in on electrical distribution services, including LV and MV solutions and other growing areas of our operations as our Customer base continues to expand within a market that is full of opportunity.With the diversity to challenge you, this is an exciting career opportunity where you will utilise your background and collaborate with our wider stakeholder groups, making an Impact as we continue to experience ongoing growth.Primary responsibilities will see you:Review customer RFQ’s, specifications and tender specifications for Field Service activitiesIdentify cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs and technical requirementsCollaborate with local and international stakeholders on an ongoing basisInteract with Customers when required, leveraging your technical knowledge to provide solutionsPrepare tender documentation including technical compliance, risk assessments and approval documentationsPrepare costing sheets to show the cost and margin of offers, ensuring minimum margin levels are achieved, whilst respecting market price levelsPrepare quotations within agreed timeframes that define the technical solution proposed, whilst mitigating technical and commercial risksContribute to the business growth in accordance with company strategy and ambitionHandover won projects to execution teamDomestic travel when requiredAbout YouTertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (Degree or Diploma) combined with experience in a similar Tendering rolePrevious experience in the submission of tenders and preparing quotations, operating to set processes with a level of rigourThe ability to read and interpret switchgear technical specifications, commercial and contract conditions and single line drawings would be ideal, as would previous experience in the supply, installation and site testing of MV and LV distribution switchgearThose with previous experience in Protection Relays or Electrical Arc Flash will be viewed favourably, as will those with a knowledge of Schneider products and offeringsAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for Interview.Schneider Electric does not accept unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles from external agencies or suppliers via any method.
