Details: We are seeking a results-driven professional with experience in project management, consultative change and visual storytelling for the role of Workforce Transformation Project Officer.

What do we want?

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves in the exciting world of Vocational Education and Training (VET)?

CIT is on the lookout for a Workforce Transformation Project Officer who thrives at the intersection of insight, influence and delivery. This role sits in the engine room of workforce reform, translating complex data, lived experience and strategy into clear insights, compelling visual narratives and practical solutions that drive real change with stakeholders.

You will work across the organisation collaborating closely with leaders, educators and stakeholders to co-design workforce solutions, coordinate complex projects and actively drive program deliverables from concept through to delivery.

If you thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy creative problem-solving and have a knack for engaging with people, you'll fit right in. We're after someone who brings positivity, adaptability, and a healthy sense of humour to the team because we believe great work should be as enjoyable as it is impactful.

What will you do?

As the Workforce Transformation Project Officer, you will be dedicated to CIT's VET Workforce Blueprint Implementation Program, assisting with the delivery of initiatives, providing project management support, analysing data and improving reporting to help shape workforce insights. You will also have a chance to drive projects within the team to deliver a program of deliverables. Engaging with a diverse workforce, you'll support the delivery of solutions and contribute to the creation of a workplace that meets the needs of our educators and industry. With opportunities to support a dynamic project team and bring our stakeholders along the journey of change, every day will offer something new, challenging and rewarding.

In this role you will:

* Drive the program of work, coordinate team activity and support workforce projects as required from discovery through to delivery, using agile project management approaches.
* Assist co-design with educators, leaders and stakeholders to shape practical, fit for purpose deliverables.
* Actively manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, navigating complexity with diplomacy and credibility.
* Analyse workforce and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to inform decision-making.
* Translate data and insights into clear, compelling visual communications, including infographics, dashboards and stakeholder-ready materials.
* Draft communications aligned to deliverables and governance requirements including high-quality briefs, visual materials and presentations.
* Track progress, coordinate actions, manage risks and ensure initiatives remain on track.

Why join us

You will have the opportunity to:

* Work on CIT's VET Workforce Blueprint and meaningful, organisation-wide workforce initiatives.
* Drive a program of work as a member of a team with real impact on the ground.
* Operate with genuine influence and visibility.
* Apply creativity, analysis and delivery in equal measure.
* Shape how data and workforce insights are used to drive decision-making.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, veterans, younger and older workers, and people with diverse genders, sexes and sexualities to apply.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

What do you need?

We are looking for someone who brings a project mindset and is motivated by solving complex workforce challenges.

You will bring:

* Experience in workforce analysis, organisational change, consulting or transformation-focused roles.
* Demonstrated capability in data storytelling and turning complex information into clear, engaging narratives.
* Advanced skills in visual communication, such as infographics, dashboards, slide design or similar.
* Sound project management skills, with the ability to drive work forward and deliver outcomes.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and build trust.
* A solution-focused mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
* The confidence to work with ambiguity and shape work as it evolves.

Whether or not you've worked in HR, consulting, or project management, we're after someone with a good grounding in project practices, who's confident working with data and has a flair for communication and stakeholder engagement. If you have experience in change or project management, we want to hear from you. We value initiative, adaptability and a can-do attitude. An understanding of and commitment to positive workplace behaviours is essential. We want someone who's open to feedback, ready to learn, and keen to help us build a vibrant, future-ready workforce, and who isn't afraid to bring a bit of fun to the job
