We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabrication Foreman to lead and manage our fabrication team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with other departments, maintain safety protocols, and optimize production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe work environment. As a Fabrication Foreman, you will train and mentor team members, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Please note this is a full-time site-based permanent position and does not offer remote working or work-from-home opportunities.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience as a fabricator, welder, or similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and machinery operation.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
Relevant certifications in welding, fabrication, or safety (e.g., OSHA certification) may be required.
High School Education or equivalent. 2–3 years' relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of Hydraulic Workover and Snubbing Equipment preferred.
Must maintain welding specifications.
Technical Requirements
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions.
Ability to set up and operate all welding equipment.
Ability to organize and communicate information.
Advanced use of hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches.
Use of power tools / handheld operation.
Ability to initiate, coordinate and deliver projects as per company standards and client specifications.
Intermediate IT skillset. Proficient in utilization of Microsoft Office software.
