Job Summary
Vin Populi Restaurant is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team on a full-time basis, based in Fremantle's West End.
We are passionate about quality, consistency and delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a skilled pastry professional you will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing the kitchen, with primary responsibility for developing dessert and pastry menu items that are creative yet balanced.
* Develop dessert and pastry menu items aligned with restaurant style
Prepare cook present desserts & pastries consistently high standard
* Ensure all food produced meets or exceeds established quality presentation standards monitoring portion control minimising wastage communicating purchasing stock requirements
* Maintain excellent personal hygiene behaviours adhering WHS regulations ensure equipment properly cleaned maintained maintain clean organised working environment
Qualifications & Experience:
* Relevant qualification e.g. Certificate IV Diploma equivalent minimum 2 years experience as Pastry Cook/Pastry Chef
* Proven experience working in commercial kitchens strong understanding of safety hygiene kitchen operations ,Must provide evidence skills qualifications when applying ]
