Registered Nurse – Peri-Operative

Classification:
Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2–YP11) Based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications Required:
- Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) competency
- Completed Blood Safe modules
- Proven clinical knowledge and skills relevant to acute and medical/surgical services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively
- Adaptability to work in a changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement
- Competency in using clinical and administrative computer systems
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in either a generalist or specialist clinical area
Desirable
- Minimum two years’ experience in a relevant clinical setting
- Membership of a relevant professional nursing body
