**About our Opportunity**
This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities, and as our Newcastle Branch Coordinator you will lead a small team in executing the receipting, storage and delivery of products to our growing customer base.
In addition you will:
- Ensure safety is your No1 priority
- Manage a small team
- Take the lead on Customer service and order entry
- Organise transportation of customer orders as required
- Ensure compliance with our SOP's
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Safely receive and store products to be warehoused
- Improve engagement and culture through leadership, training, and mentorship
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of stock take and our stock management systems and processes
- General administrative tasks
- Oversee site operations in their entirety
**About You**
We're looking to leverage your comprehensive experience in people management in a manufacturing environment. Along with experience in complex supply chains and the ability to adapt to the complexities of bulk customized freight. Balancing competing priorities and demands comes naturally to you, your flexible leadership style and hands on approach sees you rolling up your sleeves more often than not. You need to have open and transparent communication style, including the ability to gain trust and elicit support from others, you need to have the ability to connect with a range of people and the capacity to work well across all stakeholder groups.
In addition, you'll have:
- understanding of LEAN & CI methodology and experience in implementing concepts
- forklift license, advantageous
