Financial Leadership Opportunity
A dynamic finance leader is sought to join a forward-thinking organization in Central West Queensland. As the Finance Manager, you will lead a committed team of finance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial operations and providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
The role involves developing and implementing annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, as well as managing day-to-day finance operations, including rates, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and treasury. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, partnering with leadership to improve financial literacy and decision-making, and contributing to business plans and long-term financial strategies.
To succeed in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance, along with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar finance leadership position. Desirable skills include CA or CPA qualification, experience working within local/state government service delivery, and strong leadership presence with proven ability to guide and empower teams.
