Gatsby Living is a leading furniture retailer in Melbourne, with a network of sophisticated showrooms across the city. As we grow our presence nationwide, including exciting new developments in Perth, WA, we focus on curating stylish collections of sofas, ottomans, coffee tables, armchairs, and contemporary furnishings designed for the modern Australian home.

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Store Manager to lead our new and growing team in Osborne Park as we expand our presence in Perth, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role during a major growth phase while inspiring customers to discover their next furnishing obsession.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional in-store experiences and leading your team to achieve sales targets and maximise performance. You will set the standard on the floor, ensuring every customer interaction is engaging, professional, and service-focused.

A key part of your role will be building strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and empowering your team to confidently recommend the most suitable products and solutions. You will also oversee visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is consistently clean, safe, and well-presented, creating an environment that supports both team success and an outstanding customer experience.

About You

To be successful you will be confident with customers, experienced and focused in supporting and managing a team, be driven to achieve, great with training and product knowledge, and be a fantastic Furnishing Stylist.

Must be available on both weekend days.

* Previous experience in a premium brand environment
* You are customer obsessed
* Strong mentoring and coaching leadership style to promote, motivate and build a cohesive team culture
* Ability to understand store budgets, to effectively run an operational showroom
* High attention to detail and able to problem solve, negotiate and influence to resolve issues, and think on your feet to deliver the best outcome to your team and customers
* A team player who is flexible, and adaptable to assist the greater team when required
* Results-focused with a mindset to continuously improve operations and to keep up to date with the latest trends, driving targets and developing your team to meet set campaigns
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent professional presentation
* Intermediate ability in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
* Experience working with textiles, furniture design or Interior Design would be advantageous
