Who We Are:
Mango Hill State Secondary College opened in 2020 and caters to students in Yrs7-12. The College is a future-focused learning community; committed to developing the potential and curiosity of each student in an innovative, supportive and collaborative environment.
Our Industry and Vocational Training Officer will be responsible for building productive partnerships with schools, industry and training providers to deliver School Based Traineeships, Apprenticeships and work experience programs that support informed career pathway choices for our secondary students.
Responsibilities include:
* Engaging with industry and business to support school-based apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities for students.
* Developing engagement activities and marketing the benefits of school-based traineeships, apprenticeships and TAFE training as career pathways.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with employers, training providers and apprenticeship support agencies.
* Provide regular updates of program outcomes and identify issues that may impact success of the program or individual students.

The Perfect Fit:
* Demonstrate strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills with experience supporting young people in education or employment pathway programs.
* Bring strong organisation and administrative capability, including record management, data and compliance requirements.
* Work effectively with school leadership, external partners, parents and students.
* Attach a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant work history).
* Attach a 1-page written statement about how your achievements and capabilities meet the requirements of the role.
