We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Group Manager - Human Resources, this role offers:
* Permanent, full-time employment
* Based in our new office on Hay Street, West Perth
* Flexible working arrangements including the opportunity to work from home
* We work a minimum of 3 days in the office per week
About the Role
Your primary focus is to manage end-to-end payroll administration processes and contribute to the effective operation of the payroll function. You will also play a hands-on role in the embedding of our new Payroll and HR system.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end preparation and processing of our fortnightly payroll to deliver accurate and timely payment to employees
* Respond to payroll queries, providing clear, accurate, and timely advice
* Coordinate the administration of workers' compensation claims and prepare reimbursement requests to insurers
* Monitor and apply payroll compliance requirements, including company policies, legislative obligations, awards, and enterprise agreements
