About the role
Join a Rural Allied Health Team delivering community-based Speech Pathology services across a regional Victorian health service approximately two hours north of Melbourne. This role is available as a 6-12 month contract or permanent position.
You will primarily work in home-based settings supporting frail older adults and people with disability, with some clinic appointments as required. The caseload focuses on adult clients and includes dysphagia management, progressive neurological conditions, and complex communication needs.
* Deliver adult dysphagia management including VFSS
* Provide AAC assessment and intervention
* Support clients with progressive neurological disorders
* Undertake collaborative care planning and goal setting
* Work closely with Allied Health Assistants within a multidisciplinary team
Skills & experience
* Grade 2 or Grade 3 Speech Pathologist
* SPA membership and relevant qualification
* Strong adult dysphagia experience (VFSS exposure desirable)
* Community experience essential
* Current driver’s licence required
