Key Skills & Attributes
Bachelor's degree or Master's in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
10 years' experience and proficiency in CAD design (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
Understanding the project scope and its budget whilst designing and detailing drawings
Maintaining systems that allow multiple projects to be effectively managed concurrently
Working effectively with customers, suppliers and the engineering team to achieve all milestones
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise tasks.
Responsibilities
To report on design outcomes to the engineering and sales team.
To complete requests for engineering services.
To liaise with stakeholders, resolve issues and pro-actively communicate progress.
To maintain all design records as required.
To assist the Engineering team on projects, as required.
To continually improve knowledge of our business systems, our products and general business skills, through personal study, attendance at workshops or conferences, or through visits to customer sites.
This objective will at times require domestic travel.
To assist with Technical Manuals, MDR & Quality Documentation.
