About the role Provide expert neurodevelopmental assessment and care for infants, children and young people, deliver evidence-based recommendations, and support service improvement as a Senior Occupational Therapist in the Child Development Unit.
Key duties of the role Provide comprehensive diagnostic assessment for children and young people presenting with neurodevelopmental differences Apply specialist professional expertise in the provision of timely assessment, diagnosis and prognosis, and recommendations Provide expert information on funding options for assessment and support Operate with professional independence and clinical competence Provide a range of service delivery models that are strongly grounded in the best available evidence Skills and Experience Demonstrated broad experience working as an Occupational Therapist within the paediatric field.
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience working as a paediatric occupational therapist.
Previous experience in assessment and management of neurodevelopmental disorders Extensive knowledge and understanding of standard diagnostic systems and guidelines Demonstrated experience in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, and/or staff supervision.
