Senior Investment Risk Analyst - Perpetual Asset Management

. This role sits within the Investment Analytics & Risk team and provides critical support to Investment Risk functions across Perpetual and Pendal boutiques. You will contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice approaches in Investment Risk Analytics and Reporting. The team is responsible for Market, Liquidity, and Counterparty Risk reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering recurring tasks and risk reports with accuracy and timeliness
Contributing to the enhancement of Investment Risk monitoring, governance, reporting, data integrity, and over-the-counter instrument capture
Ensuring the accuracy of risk-related documentation, such as policies, standards, frameworks, and procedures
Improving existing risk processes, controls, and engineering future-fit solutions
Working with stakeholders and service providers to deliver key uplift objectives
About you / Qualifications
Degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or related field
Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) highly regarded
5+ years in financial services, including 2+ years in Investment Risk
Strong understanding of Australian Investment Risk regulations; offshore exposure a plus
Experience across at least one of these asset classes: Fixed Income, Equities, Multi Asset
Familiarity with derivatives
Experience with third-party risk models and explaining risk drivers to stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills essential; VBA, PowerBI, and FactSet desirable
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Lists
