Our client is a Southeast Queensland company providing high quality building materials and tools for both trade professionals and retail customers. Continuing to expand we are pleased to be recruiting for 2 permanent full-time Warehouse Store people to work in both between their Yatala and Biggara Water stores.
This is an all-rounder warehouse type position who enjoys working as part of a small team.
Responsibilities for this position include:
* Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods
* Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately
* Pick, pack and prepare customer orders efficiently
* Assist walk-in customers with product enquiries and order fulfilment
* Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and replenishment
* Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times
* Work closely with the sales team and store managers to ensure smooth daily
To be considered:
* Valid forklift licence, drivers licence. Can drive a high reach forklift
* Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or building materials industry preferred
* Ability to provide good customer service and communicate clearly
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
* Reliable, punctual and responsible
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer skills (for inventory and order systems)
* Can work on Saturdays
* Can work in both Yatala and Biggera waters stores
* Tiling, waterproofing or flooring experience highly desirable but not essential
