This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026. This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. The Learning Support Coordinator would work collaboratively with the school staff and leadership team to provide an inclusive educational environment that provides additional support for individual students and their learning needs. Providing professional learning and direct coaching to teachers on designing specialised curriculum to address the diverse learning needs of students facing educational barriers is a key aspect of this role. A high level of interpersonal skills and drive, with the ability to establish and maintain networks, both internally and externally, is essential. The successful applicant should be skilled in the completion and review of Individual Disability Allocations, leading the development of Individual Education Plans for students at educational risk, including SEN plans and reporting. They would assist in coordinating special exam arrangements, managing daily EA rosters, and collecting data for National Consistent Collection of Data. They would support school leaders to devise and implement Literacy and Numeracy improvement strategies, supporting National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy and Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment testing, and assist students who require early and targeted transition from Primary to High School. The role currently allows 0.4 FTE for Coordination and 0.6 FTE for small group interventions and or classes in your area of expertise. Increase in Coordination time will be dependent on projected increased numbers and complexity of student support needs. Eligibility
