Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our Medical Records team at Tamworth Hospital. The role primarily covers Mondays with flexible working times and offers opportunities to take on additional shifts. It is an 8‑hour‑per‑week part‑time position.


Remuneration and Employment

Hourly rate: $33.59 – $34.70 + Superannuation. Employment type: Permanent Part Time. Hours per week: 8. Location: Tamworth Hospital. Requisition ID: REQ623769. Applications Close: Monday, 12th January 2026.

More About the Role

The medical records process ensures patient documentation is accurately prepared, scanned, quality checked, and uploaded into digital medical record systems. In this role you will manage the loose sheet scanner, ensuring documents of care are accurately scanned, finalised, and uploaded into digital medical records.


Responsibilities

* Manage the scanner and processing of patient documentation.
* Ensure quality and accuracy at all stages of the medical records workflow.
* Receive training across reception, finalisation, and upload procedures.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with documentation standards.
