We have an opportunity for a commercially focused Senior Marketing Manager to drive our marketing initiatives within Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) across Australia and New Zealand. This role is pivotal in boosting revenue growth, enhancing client engagement, and solidifying the bank's presence among our target audience and segments in Innovation Banking, Mid-Market, Multinationals, Corporations and Institutions. Taking on the role of Senior Marketing Manager, you will be the marketing lead for CIB in ANZ, working closely with other CIB Marketing teams globally, as well as key business, coverage and strategy teams to execute marketing strategies that open new business avenues and accelerate client decision-making across regions. You will be working with a sophisticated, highly engaged corporate customer segment in a generalist B2B marketing role, covering digital, events, 360 Omni Channel, partnerships and sponsorships. With one direct report, this is a great opportunity for a collaborative B2B marketing specialist in the financial services sector to bring their strong sector knowledge into a senior leadership role, responsible for two countries in a globally focused organisation. Your main responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing the marketing strategy for key segments of growth including innovation banking, mid-market, multinational corporates and institutions, aligned with commercial objectives. Developing marketing programs that support deal origination and client acquisition. Developing and implementing local direct-to-client marketing campaigns to achieve CIB business goals and objectives. Developing local media plans which connect with the HSBC group and supporting both local and global business and client marketing objectives, optimising return on investment. Maintaining relationships with local agency partners to negotiate strong agreements and maintaining high quality of service Serving as point of contact for the global content and campaigns teams to identify potential content pieces which would supplement a regional runway in partnership with the Business / Client leads in the ASP region. Managing end-to-end delivery of strategic events, including planning, creative and content development, stakeholder alignment, vendor management, logistics, and post-event analysis. Tracking and analysing performance metrics for all activity, utilising data insights to continuously refine marketing strategies. Promoting agile working principles and fostering a collaborative working environment, reflective of HSBC's values. To be successful in this role, you will need: Significant B2B marketing experience, with a focus on commercial marketing within banking or financial services. Proven ability to translate client and market insights into effective marketing strategies and campaigns. Ability to collaborate effectively both locally and across borders in a complex global, matrixed organisation, at all levels including with executive management and Board. The ability to build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, through excellent communication skills, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills. The ability to innovate and undertake complex problem solving. Leadership experience.
