Overview
Senior School Teacher - Health and Physical Education at Girton Grammar School.
This is a full-time fixed-term teaching position starting in January 2026 and finishing in November 2026.
We are accepting part-time and full-time applications.
Your role will be to create, design, develop and deliver curriculum that is challenging, educational, inclusive, enjoyable, and encourages optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create, design, develop and deliver Health and Physical Education curriculum that is challenging, educational, inclusive and engaging for students.
- Plan and implement lessons that promote student wellbeing and safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum with school goals and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications
- Appropriate qualifications and registrations as a teacher.
- A passion for and demonstrated curriculum knowledge of Health and Physical Education.
- Demonstrated effective delivery of teaching and learning programs.
- A commitment to professional development.
- Excellent personal communication, administrative and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety, including working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong ICT skills relevant to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to co-curricular activities.
