About this role:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal part in leading the firm's financial strategy and management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Oversee all financial operations, encompassing accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management.
* Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
* Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement, driving business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven track record as a CFO in a professional services firm, preferably in the legal industry.
* Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build relationships with partners and senior management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
* CA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
* MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification (desirable).
