About the role
Stocks Designer Appliances' & Bathrooms is seeking a talented and ambitious Retail and Trade Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Clayfield, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers.
What you'll be doing
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable appliances and solutions
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to order fulfilment and after-sales support
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers such as Architects, designers, builders, cabinet makers, electricians and contractors
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
* Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
* Provide exceptional customer service and a premium shopping experience
* Collaborate with the broader sales team to share best practices and support each other
What we're looking for
* Ideally, you will have experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the appliances, home improvement or building industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
* Excellent product knowledge and the ability to match customer needs with the right solutions
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide a premium customer experience
* Passion for the appliances industry and a desire to stay up-to-date with market trends
* Confident in using technology and sales tools to optimise performance
