Overview
Music Teacher — Haileybury Rendall School are excited to offer a role as a Strings Teacher within our Music Department. The position is full time commencing February 2026 with an option of negotiating part time hours. The successful candidate must have cultural awareness and be able to communicate appropriately, both verbally and non-verbally, with students and staff of all ethnic backgrounds.

About the School and Teaching Approach
The School provides an exciting and enriching curriculum that builds resilient and independent learners with skills in creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking. Our teaching approach is tailored to suit all year levels — core literacy and numeracy are developed through explicit instruction in the junior years, with a move toward a mix of explicit instruction and student-centred learning in the middle years. In the senior years, students may enter a three-year VCE program with a range of subjects to suit interests and abilities.
