United Plastering Tasmania is seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Plasterer to join our growing team in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a trade career, receive quality hands‑on experience, and build a long‑term future in the construction industry.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Plasterer, you will be trained in all aspects of internal plastering, including:
* Sheeting, setting and finishing
* Cornice installation
* Patch work and repairs
* Working safely on residential and commercial job sites
* Following plans, instructions, and site safety requirements
This is a full‑time apprenticeship with work Monday to Friday across Launceston and surrounding areas.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Be reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
* Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the trade
* Hold a driver's licence OR be actively working towards obtaining one
* If still working towards a licence: you must have reliable transport to get to and from job sites
* Be able to work safely and follow instructions
* Be available to commence January 2026
2025 school leavers are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
* Construction White Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
* WWVP Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Australian working rights
* Ability to work across multiple job sites
