Wastewater Treatment Expertise Sought
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our Melbourne team, undertaking feasibility studies and reporting on complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.
* Lead project delivery and design for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
* Apply expertise in treatment projects from concept through to detailed design to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Direct project teams, ensuring high quality deliverables and meeting project requirements in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure constructability of process designs and compatibility with project intent.
* Engage with clients to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
* Mentor and share experience with junior engineers.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering, with approximately 6 to 10 years relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.
* Experience in wastewater treatment process design and modelling would be highly beneficial.
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial project outcomes.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to lead others and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
