Delivery Driver
About the role:
Our Driver's typical day isn't just driving and delivering parts, they play a key role in our branch teams. Driver's build strong relationships through high standards of sales and service in a customer facing role.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage deliveries
* Ensure a safe work environment
* Safe driving behaviours
* Deliver high level customer service
* Build strong customer bonds
* Safely deliver parts & products to our trade customers, including workshops and dealerships
* Actively promote products & marketing activities when delivering products
* Assist the team with other tasks such as processing orders, dispatching products, processing credits, customer enquiries
Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving / machine operation.
Qualifications & Traits
* Ability to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on urgency
* Customer service mindset; can build strong customer relationships
* Friendly and knowledgeable
* Comfort working independently
* Physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)
* Conscious of workplace safety always
* Ongoing commitment to safe driving practices
* Hold a current/valid driver's licence (manual preferred)
* Previous customer service experience within a trade/mechanical environment (desirable)
* Available Mon - Fri and flexible to work other days if requested
