Bell Rural Contracting is seeking qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy diesel vehicles and equipment in a regional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles and equipment
* Inspect and test mechanical components to identify faults
* Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Ensure all work complies with WHS and safety procedures
* Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation
* Follow all Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport regulations
* Work collaboratively with team members and management to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
* Relevant qualification as a Diesel Motor Mechanic
* Experience working with heavy vehicles and diesel engines
* HR Licence (preferred)
* Solid understanding of CoR and safety regulations
* Ability to work in a regional location
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
