About the Role:
Norco is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination Truck Driver to join their team at a milk manufacturing and distribution site in Labrador Gold Coast on a casual basis. Reporting to the Transport Co-ordinator, you will ensure all operational and safety procedures are followed to deliver customer orders 100% in spec in full and on time.
This role will suit candidates who enjoy active roles as they will be required to unload milk at the depot upon arrival and reload empty crates prior to departure to site.

The successful candidate will hold an HC Licence and possess the physical fitness required for manual handling (i.e., moving cargons/crates of approximately 100 kgs) with a good understanding of correct manual handling procedures.
Forklift Licenses are highly desirable for multi-tasking across various shift configurations.
The ideal candidate will have experience complying with CoR standards for work hours fatigue management and load security, planning and organising routes, taking into account other fleet scheduling activities.
They will also have experience completing heavy vehicle checks, including monitoring trailer fridge motors, understand distributor order picking procedures and loading sequence for multiple orders, and understand standard operating procedures for cartons, crates, and pallets.
Punctuality and reliability are essential for early morning, day or afternoon shifts (shifts commence between 4am and 2pm, Monday to Saturday, and occasional Sundays).
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to model safe work practices and compliance with all policies and procedures.
