Job Summary
CJD Equipment has a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join our busy Alice Springs branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role requires you to work as part of a small team, assisting customers and internal workshop staff in the sourcing, sales and distribution of truck, heavy trailer and construction machinery spare parts.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications & Skills
Able to identify, source and sell spare parts and other parts as required, using multiple systems to interpret parts required by customers and our busy service department
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
Strong sales and customer focus
Be confident, courteous and have a positive work ethic
Good computer skills with Microsoft applications
Common sense and the willingness to use initiative
Ability to work and participate in a team environment
Willingness to participate in an 'on call' roster
Experience in a similar role is preferred
Experience in heavy truck, trailer and construction is preferred
Ability to manage stock, receipt, display and dispatch
A current driver's licence and forklift licence (preferred, not essential)
