Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of substation policies, programs, standards, operation and monitoring of substation equipment and facilities.
Power Transformers (5x300MVA, 230kV/115kV) – 1500MVA – in service
Power Transformers (2x300MVA, 230kV/115kV) – 600MVA – not in service
Capacitor Bank (3x100MVAR) – 300MVAR – in service
Incoming 230kV Transmission Lines
Taytay-Malaya 230kV Line 1 & 2 (2x4x795MCM ACSR) – 2400MVA
Taytay-San Jose 230kV Line 1 & 2 (2x4x795MCM ACSR) – 2400MVA
Outgoing 115kV Tie Lines
TO1 115kV tie line going to Meralco’s 115kV Switchyard (2x795MCM ACSR) – 300MVA
TO2 115kV tie line going to Meralco’s 115kV Switchyard (2x795MCM ACSR) – 300MVA
TO3 115kV tie line going to Meralco’s 115kV Switchyard (2x795MCM ACSR) – 300MVA
TO4 115kV tie line going to Meralco’s 115kV Switchyard (2x795MCM ACSR) – 300MVA
TO5 115kV tie line going to Meralco’s 115kV Switchyard (2x795MCM ACSR) – 300MVA
230kV Conventional Outdoor Switchyard (5 bays)
115kV Conventional Outdoor Switchyard (5 bays)
115kV Metering Facilities
Substation Automation System (SAS) / MBSC
Protection, control, monitoring and secondary devices for the following:
4x230kV transmission lines
5x115kV transmission lines
5x300MVA power transformer
Auxiliary transformer (4 units)
Building facilities consisting of 4 buildings
Backup generators
Fire Suppression System
Building Fire Alarm System
Responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operations of the substation.
Preparation of substation operational reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Registered Electrical Engineer
Must have undergone Substation Operation’s Training (PM-OM-01 Rule 4.23) and at least 3 years of relevant experience in Substation Operation
English and Filipino literate
Good leadership and management skills
Good communication skills
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office
Troubleshooting of electrical wiring
Perform assigned tasks with less supervision
Can read and interpret various schematic diagrams
