About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mining Operations Manager to lead our coal mining team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production and ensuring efficient workflow.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in open cut coal mining operations and possess strong leadership skills. A background in autonomous haulage and supervisory experience is preferred.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and technical teams to drive operational excellence and champion safe systems of work.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety protocols.

* Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily production and ensure efficient workflow
* Lead a team of supervisors and operators, fostering a positive and respectful culture

About You:
To be successful, you will require:
* Significant experience in open cut coal mining operations
* Preferred Autonomous Haulage experience
* Preferred leadership experience in a Superintendent and/or senior supervisory capacity
* Experience successfully leading a crew in a KPI driven environment
* A commitment to safety, team development, and inclusive leadership
* A proactive and solutions-driven mindset
* Relevant qualifications in mining, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
