About your team
The Assistant Director leads DHA's enterprise risk, internal audit, and business continuity functions, ensuring they operate as a coordinated assurance framework that supports effective decision‐making, organisational resilience, and sound governance.
About the role
Operating with a high degree of autonomy under broad direction from the Director, Strategic Governance / Chief Risk Officer, the Assistant Director provides authoritative, independent advice on enterprise risk management, internal audit, and business continuity. The role leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of DHA's assurance frameworks to support executive and Board decision‐making, organisational resilience, and effective governance. The Assistant Director builds constructive relationships with senior stakeholders, exercises sound judgement in complex and sensitive matters, and ensures assurance activities are risk‐based, proportionate, and aligned to DHA's strategic objectives.
