Dental Assistant – Receptionist
Employment Type: Open to Full-Time, Part Time or Casual
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Late night trade 3 nights a week.
Purpose
To deliver a high-quality front‐office experience within the dental practice, managing patient appointments, billing, payments and records, while also providing chairside assisting to support clinical care delivery and promoting patient education in dental health.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Act as the first point of contact for patients, creating a friendly and professional experience while supporting smooth check‐in and check‐out processes.
* Coordinate daily appointment flow by monitoring the schedule, managing changes, and liaising with the clinical team to minimise disruptions.
* Support efficient practice operations by handling general administrative tasks, including correspondence, filing, and assisting with internal systems and processes.
* Uphold a high standard of presentation and organisation across the reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment while consistently demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
* Ideally have previous experience as a dental receptionist or a dental assistant seeking to transition into an administrative support role, bringing a strong understanding of dental practice workflows and patient care.
