Job Description:
The Coordinator Civil Maintenance & Fleet role is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing construction and civil maintenance delivery, fleet strategy, and operational excellence across multiple teams. This includes managing supervisors and frontline staff to ensure the effective management and maintenance of the City's civil infrastructure, roads, drainage, footpaths, and fleet.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and mentoring a team to achieve high service levels and operational excellence.
* Overseeing Civil Maintenance, Civil Projects, Fleet Acquisition, and Fleet Maintenance teams.
* Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans for works impacting the community.
* Driving a proactive approach to asset and fleet management.
* Ensuring all operations comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and City policies.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or substantial experience in civil construction and maintenance.
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
* Experience in civil maintenance and construction ensuring compliance with WHS standards.
* Expertise in fleet and asset management, procurement, and contract administration.
* Demonstrated track record in managing large, complex teams.
