We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Officer Trainee to join our finance team based at our Head Office in Inverell. This is a full-time role with support provided to complete a traineeship within our Finance team.

The Accounts Officer Trainee role requires an efficient and motivated person with a high level of attention to detail. The capacity to maintain confidentiality and work with a professional attitude is essential.

Responsibilities will include:

* Oversee, maintain and provide high level of assistance for all Attache and MYOB accounting processes.
* Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner for payment authorisation and supplier invoices.
* Prepare EFT payments and reconcile creditor statements and accounts.
* Prepare customer invoices, receipt and bank customer payments.
* Accurately set up and maintain supplier master records.
* Assist with end of month functions and audit preparations.
* NDIS claiming and billing.

Who are we looking for? Someone who has:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to learn from an experienced and friendly finance team.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to interpret and adhere to Policies and Procedures.
* ROSA certificate or above (record of finishing year 10 level schooling).
* Current Car Drivers Licence (L provisional or above)
