Autonomous role reporting to the Exploration Manager 
One of Australia's most exciting discoveries in recent years 
Hunter is working with an ASX-listed Mining company, currently undertaking an extensive drilling campaign in Western Australia. Due to an increase in activity, our client now requires an experienced HS&E; Coordinator / Document controller to play a vital role in managing documentation for the client's Safety Management System and between the client and external contractors 
Based in West Perth, this role will report to the Exploration Manager and will initially only be required for part time hours. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work autonomously, and is proactive in solving and anticipating potential risks and issues. 
Once you get an understanding of the role and its requirements. The position can be done remotely. 
The Role: 
Work with the external agency in coordinating the end-to-end employee and induction process. 
Company-wide HSEQ document control. 
Work closely with external contractors to ensure compliance. 
Updating HS&E; Policies and Procedures 
Undertake HSE&E; activities as required, including compliance checks 
Review and analysis of company policies and practices 
Assist in Quality improvements and system maintenance 
About you: 
Previous experience in an HSE co-ordinator/document control role within the exploration industry. 
Able to work autonomously 
Excellent stakeholder management to ensure relationships are maintained with contractors 
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. 
Flexibility and open to part time hours 
Willingness to make ad-hoc visits to site
