Teacher – A Level Geography & Environmental Science
At Northampton College, our strength lies in our diversity. We are looking for a teacher to deliver A level Geography and Environmental Science to a wide variety of students. The role involves dynamic, day‐to‐day duties designed to support the College's commitment to collaboration, inclusion and innovation.
Day to day duties

Required skills and qualifications
* Aptitude and/or experience of coaching and/or tutoring and/or teaching
* Ability to effectively engage and manage groups of students
* Effective written, verbal and active listening communication with a diverse group of colleagues, students and stakeholders
* Ability to use a range of IT / ICT systems
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to completion within prescribed deadlines
* High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
* Responsive and professional customer service at all times
Education
* English and maths GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or willingness to obtain, or equivalent skill level
* Academic qualification relevant to the subject specialism
* Qualified Teacher (PGCE / CertEd, or DTLLS)
Alternative pathways
* Industry specialist / entry‐level teacher seeking a teaching role: qualifications and/or equivalent experience at Level 3 in a relevant subject/discipline, with a requirement to undertake the teaching qualification, sponsored by the College.
