Specification Representative - East Coast Sydney-Based | NSW, VIC & New Zealand $130-135K Car Allowance, fuel card, Etag and Commissions (OTE ~$200K) Is it time to step into a role that fast-tracks you toward leadership? A leading player in engineered heating and water technologies is expanding, seeking a technically minded BD professional to own the specification channel across the East Coast and NZ. This role is for someone moving fast: You have only been in sales for a short time but you have already progressed quickly up the individual contributor positions available to you and you are ready for a pathway to Specification / Consultancy Sales Team Leadership. The Opportunity Drive new specifications for electrical hot water solutions across multi-residential, aged care, education, and commercial projects. Own the full sales cycle-lead to install-while becoming the go-to technical specialist. Roll up your sleeves, engage consultants, and make a real business impact. What You'll Be Doing Own the Channel: Manage the pipeline across NSW, VIC & NZ-lead gen to spec win to install. Drive specifications in major builds by engaging hydraulic consultants, developers and builders. Be the Technical Authority: Master electrical hot water design, compliance, and loads. Act as the internal and external specialist. Collaborate to Win: Work with territory managers, merchants, and plumbers to uncover projects, protect existing specs, and beat competitors. Use digital tools (BCI, EstimateOne, CE Dynamics) to track opportunities. Shape Market Direction: Feed insights into product, market, and competitor strategy. Identify future revenue opportunities and support growth planning. About You You're earlier in your career but moving fast. You bring: 5-6 years' Business Development and solution sales experience Previous experience selling to Engineering consultancies beneficial but not essential Technical mindset and patience for long sales cycles Ability to outline new technical solutions and prosecuting a case for new approaches to hot water Strong relationship-building with senior stakeholders Value-driven selling approach Exceptional planning and follow-through Self-directed, commercially hungry attitude If you've seen yourself as "the future leader in the room," you'll fit right in.
