Sales Interior Design Consultant – Showroom (Full Time)

Bradley Trade Services is a proud South Australian, family-owned business delivering high-quality renovation and trade services across residential and commercial projects.
With our brand-new showroom opening on South Road in St Marys, we're looking for a Sales Interior Design Consultant to become the face of our showroom and help clients bring their renovation and design ideas to life.
This role is perfect for someone who loves interiors, people, sales support and creating a premium customer experience from first visit through to final selections.
About the Role
As our Sales Interior Design Consultant, you will manage day-to-day showroom operations and provide professional design and product selection guidance to clients. You will work closely with our sales and operations team to ensure projects run smoothly from the moment clients walk into the showroom.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and confidence working with multiple suppliers and product ranges.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom & Client Experience
Manage the day-to-day operation and presentation of the showroom
Welcome clients into the showroom and provide a friendly, professional experience
Assist clients with selections
Conduct selection appointments and guide clients through product options based on their budget, style, and project requirements
Support clients with inspiration and cohesive selections
Sales & Project Support
Work closely with our internal sales team to support quoting and project planning
Assist with product recommendations that align with project scope and build requirements
Assist with design and selections for bathrooms, joinery and cabinetry and extensions and renovations
Attend internal handover meetings where needed to ensure selections match the job plan
Assist with customer follow-ups and ensure selections are confirmed within required timeframes
Supplier Orders & Coordination
Place and manage orders with suppliers and ensure product accuracy
Confirm lead times, availability, and delivery requirements
Liaise with suppliers regarding quotes, order changes, backorders and returns
Maintain selection documentation and assist with product scheduling
Administration & Scheduling
Schedule client selection appointments and maintain showroom calendar
Maintain records of selections, client notes, and order tracking
Ensure documentation is organised and communicated clearly to the team
Manage general showroom admin and business support tasks as required
Showroom Growth & Presentation
Assist in maintaining a showroom that reflects our high standards and brand
Help keep showroom displays updated, tidy and well merchandised
Contribute ideas to improve customer flow, the selection process and showroom experience
About You
You are a confident and client-focused professional who enjoys building rapport and providing guidance to help clients make decisions.
You will ideally have:
Experience in interior design, showroom consulting, building selections, kitchen/bathroom design, or home improvement retail
Strong customer service and communication skills
High attention to detail (especially when ordering products and documenting selections)
Confidence working with suppliers and coordinating product timelines
Strong time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
A professional, friendly, and polished presentation
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the showroom
Availability
This role is 5 days per week, including Saturday.
(Your weekday roster will be discussed during the interview.)
