Join the Prosthetic, Orthotic and Podiatry Services team at Princess Alexandra Hospital as an Advanced Prosthetist/Orthotist in this permanent full-time opportunity. In this role you will deliver specialised clinical and consultancy services across Metro South Health, providing advanced clinical leadership and driving service innovation.

About This Role

Your new role: This is a senior leadership opportunity where you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, delivering specialised clinical services while shaping the future of Prosthetic and Orthotic care through innovation, education and research.

* Deliver advanced prosthetic and orthotic clinical and consultancy services across complex, multi-specialty caseloads
* Provide clinical leadership, expert advice and mentorship to Prosthetist/Orthotists and allied health staff
* Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices, service improvements and innovative models of care
* Analyse and report on service data, performance outcomes and trends to inform strategic decision-making and service direction
About You

You are a highly experienced clinician and natural leader who brings both advanced technical capability and a strategic mindset to service delivery.

* Advanced clinical expertise in prosthetic and orthotic service delivery across complex patient presentations
* Proven leadership experience including supervision, mentoring and capability development of staff
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated experience in leading service improvement initiatives, research or innovation in clinical practice

About Us

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world‐class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant. We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI), as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment. We are expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need with more beds, modernised buildings and improved spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
