Principal Quantitative User Experience Researcher Job Overview
This is a highly specialized position that requires expertise in quantitative user experience research. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quantitative research methods, including log analysis, internal metrics triangulation, survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, and statistical concepts. They will also be able to design and conduct studies to answer complex business questions and communicate their findings effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate business problems into research projects and programs that address the needs of the organization.
* Develop and deliver research insights that answer key questions and inform business decisions at multiple levels of the organization.
* Lead end-to-end research activities, both individually and as part of coordinated efforts over extended periods.
Requirements:
* Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field.
* 12+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains.
* Expertise in quantitative research, including quantitative data analysis, research design, and communication of research findings.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
