Provide quality specialist and subspecialty medical services to the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) within the limits of specified clinical privileges.
The Role:
Provide quality specialist and sub-specialty Ear, Nose and Throat services to the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) within the limits of specified clinical privileges.

* Supportive collegiate hospital environment with well attended departmental training, research, M&M, and Head and Neck MDT's.
* Work with others to promote a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness and respect across disciplines supervising and participating in teaching the junior medical workforce.
Fixed Term, Part time, day worker (with on-call) position working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 May 2026 for a three year period.*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Visiting Medical Practitioners Level 1- Visiting Medical Specialists Level 4 $280,161 - $490,097 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation+ access to salary packaging
* Salary range is in accordance with Tasmanian Visiting Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Agreement 2019

Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria as
* Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
* Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) or equivalent
