The Australian Mining Review is an established industry publication known for delivering high-quality insights and market-leading content. We're excited to announce the launch of our new publication, The Australian Building & Construction Review, designed to bring the same level of trusted reporting and industry connection to the construction and building sector.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Lead to spearhead the commercial growth of The Australian Building & Construction Review.

This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground floor and play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy and long-term success of the publication. You will have the chance to build and lead a sales team, drive revenue growth, and develop a cost centre with significant potential.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead sales efforts for the new publication, including identifying and approaching prospective advertisers.
* Confidently cold call potential clients and clearly communicate the value proposition of advertising in a new, highly targeted publication.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and industry partner.
* Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to align advertising solutions with content strategies.
* Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
* Provide feedback and insights from the market to help shape the publication's commercial strategy.
* Represent the publication at industry events and networking opportunities as needed.

About You

* Proven experience in sales, ideally in media, publishing, or advertising.
* Strong ability to cold call and confidently open new conversations with decision-makers.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive new business.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Passion for building relationships and delivering value to clients.
* Interest or experience in the building, construction, or related industries is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
