You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for:The development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator:You have Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering Excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the teamYMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland.
We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.About your workplace at the YYMCA Burleigh Heads Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located in the School Hall at Burleigh Heads State School.
We are licensed for 75 children and we offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care between 6.30am- 6pm.At YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC we teach the children our key values that 'we are caring, honest, respectful, make good choices and have fun!'
Children are taught 5 areas of respect: respect for educators, themselves, each other, the equipment and the environment.
We instil these values in the children to foster an environment that is fun, welcoming and inclusive.
Children are encouraged to reflect on how they are active contributors to this community and their involvement to ensure these values at YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC.Children enjoy outdoor play with access to the oval, basketball courts and multiple adventure playgrounds.
Afternoon tea is typically enjoyed through a picnic styled experience at the picnic tables or the picnic mats.
Drawing and creating are readily available during all indoor and outdoor play opportunities.Inside children explore through imaginative and creative play every BSC and ASC sessions.
Children often utilise they hall for dancing, talent shows and creative movement.
