**Responsibilities**:
- Assist a carpenter with projects
- Help build wooden structures
- Read plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the dimensions, materials and installation procedures required
- Learn and practice essential carpentry skills on the job
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Set up and maintain tools for your supervising carpenter
**Skills and Experience Requirements**
- Familiarity with common power and hand tools highly regarded
- Must be hard workers, enthusiastic & be able to show initiative, physically fit
- Experience in construction advantageous
- Physical strength and stamina and strong math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and a keen learner
