About your new role
The Enterprise Risk Manager leads the integration of risk frameworks within the organisations, Performance, Risk & Strategy division. Based in Geelong, the role is responsible for overseeing up to three direct reports and managing a financial delegation to drive a risk-aware culture across the organisation. Key accountabilities include preparing and presenting high-quality risk papers and documentation to the Executive Leadership Team and Board Committees for critical decision-making. Additionally, the manager oversees crisis and business continuity policies, leads scenario testing, and ensures strict compliance with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework and the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework.
What you will need to exceed
* Exceptional ability to build trusting relationships and influence senior management and external partners.
* Significant experience in enterprise-wide risk management, internal control assessment, and governance, ideally within the public sector, corporate, or financial services industries.
* Proven ability to develop and implement innovative, integrated risk management solutions.
* Superior presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complicated risk data into simple, actionable insights.
* Strong skills in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have
* A proven track record as a senior consultant or manager of enterprise-wide risk management and compliance service.
Desirable
* Experience in working for government
