A leading company based in Riverwood, are seeking a reliable and organized Storeman with a valid forklift license to assist with the warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of goods. Job Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and store incoming deliveries in the warehouse.
Safely operate a forklift to move and stack goods as required.
Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure inventory records are up-to-date.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits.
Check products for quality and report any discrepancies or damages.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of materials and goods.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Assist with general warehouse duties, including labeling and sorting
products.
Maintain equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.
Requirements:
Valid forklift license and experience operating a forklift in a warehouse
environment.
Previous experience as a Storeman or Warehouse Worker is highly desirable.
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Basic computer skills for inventory management (experience with warehouse
management systems is a plus).
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
High school diploma or equivalent.
