Overview
Cadet Environmental Health Officer at Careers at Council, Nowra, New South Wales. This is a full time fixed-term role, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at the Nowra Administration Building.
Responsibilities
Assist in providing for the protection, promotion and improvement of the environment and public health and safety of the community.
Administer and enforce the Acts and Regulations under various legislation and Council policies; work cooperatively with other Council divisions and state agencies to achieve improved environmental and public health outcomes.
About You / Qualifications
Eligible to undertake tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Science majoring in Environmental Health at University of Western Sydney (Hawkesbury Campus). Applicants that are currently undertaking the course may be considered but must have a minimum of three years remaining to complete the course on an external basis.
Current Class C Driver's Licence
Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)

Salary & Benefits
Salary: $859 - $1,265 gross per week plus 12% super
